Couples Therapy
Strengthen Connection. Improve Communication. Rebuild Emotional Safety.
Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of comfort and one of our deepest sources of pain. Couples often come to therapy feeling disconnected, misunderstood, emotionally distant, stuck in recurring arguments, navigating betrayal, or unsure how to reconnect after life transitions. Sometimes the relationship isn’t lacking love it’s overwhelmed by stress, unmet needs, old wounds, communication patterns, or experiences that have never been fully processed.
Couples therapy is not about choosing sides or deciding who is right or wrong. It is about creating a space where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported in building healthier ways of relating.
My role is to help slow down the cycle, identify underlying emotions and needs, strengthen communication, and create opportunities for deeper understanding and repair.
My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from systems work, attachment-based understanding, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based therapeutic practices to support both individual and relational healing.
Common areas we may explore:
• Communication challenges
• Conflict and recurring arguments
• Emotional disconnection
• Trust and rebuilding after rupture
• Life transitions and stress
• Boundaries and unmet needs
• Intimacy and emotional closeness
• Parenting and partnership dynamics
What sessions may feel like:
You can expect a space that is supportive, collaborative, and honest. I will help both partners slow down reactions, explore patterns with compassion, and practice new ways of connecting. The goal is not perfection it is creating a relationship that feels more intentional, emotionally safe, and aligned. The goal is not perfection it is creating a relationship that feels more intentional, emotionally safe, and aligned.
